Biography: 1st wife was Charlotte Alington Pye. Known by the pseudonym Claribel, she was one of the best know songwriters of the 19th century and was signed to a £300 a year contract. (Worth approximately £ 30,000 at 2014 prices) Legacy of Lincolnshire Songs. She was also the cousin of Rev. Alan Marmaduke Alington
