Lieutenant Colonel Sackville George Pelham MC
Born: 17th December 1888, Hanover Square, London Died: 7th February 1948, aged 59 Father: Sir Charles Alfred Worsley Pelham Uncle: Captain Victor Ralph Pelham Uncle: Henry Cornwallis Pelham Uncle: Major Dudley Roger Hugh Pelham DSO Brother: Lieutenant Charles Sackville Pelham Educated: Eton; Trinity (Cambridge) Military Service : In 1910, he became a Second Lieutenant in the 11th Hussars and initially fought as a lieutenant in France during World War I before being promoted to the rank of captain in 1916. After the war, he was awarded the Military Cross and retired from the Army in 1919 when he married. In 1926, Lord Worsley became a major in the Nottinghamshire Yeomanry.
