Biography:

Ralph served an apprenticeship with Ruston, Proctor and Company of Lincoln.

He often travelled abroad and visited the following destinations: 1923: Karachi, 1926: Twice to Lagos, 1929: Capetown, 1933: Capetown, 1937: Capetown, 1946: New York
