Cricket: I started off at Caistor, where I was U13 batsman of the year(!), but left for Brigg Town after a further season doing little for one of the senior sides. Played U15, U17 and 2nd XI for Brigg. The number of matches tailed off to a handful a season and I am grateful to Michael Bessell for suggesting that I try Brocklesby and the rest is history.

Website: Conceived, developed and entered the data for this time consuming monster. I originally just wanted an easier way to keep track of my own stats and it grew from there.

I like mathematics because it is not human and has nothing particular to do with this planet or with the whole accidental universe - because, like Spinoza's God, it won't love us in return. - Bertrand Russell
